Directions to Arkansas School for the Deaf and Blind (ARDB)

Our Deaf and Blind Department campuses are located on West Markham Street in Little Rock, near the Arkansas State Capitol. Use the directions below when traveling on I-630.

Deaf Department Campus

2400 W Markham Street, Little Rock, AR 72205

From I-630 Eastbound (coming from West Little Rock)

Exit:

  1. Take Exit 5B – Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

For the Deaf Department Campus
Arkansas School for the Deaf

  • Turn left onto MLK Jr. Drive.

  • Travel north approximately 0.5 miles.

  • Turn right onto W Markham Street.

  • Continue east about 0.2 miles.

  • The Deaf Department (2400 W Markham) will be on your right.

For the Blind Department Campus
Arkansas School for the Blind

  • Follow the same directions above.

  • Continue slightly farther east on W Markham.

  • The Blind Department (2600 W Markham) will be on your right, just past the Deaf campus.

From I-630 Westbound (coming from Downtown / I-30)

Exit:

  1. Take Exit 5A – Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

For both campuses

  • Turn right onto MLK Jr. Drive.

  • Travel north approximately 0.5 miles.

  • Turn right onto W Markham Street.

  • Continue east:

    • 2400 W Markham (Deaf Department) – first campus on the right.

    • 2600 W Markham (Blind Department) – next campus on the right.

Helpful Landmarks

  • Both campuses are located near the Arkansas State Capitol.

  • If you reach the Capitol grounds on Markham, you’ve gone slightly too far east.

  • Campus signage for ARDB is visible along W Markham.
