About

The Arkansas School for the Deaf and Blind (ARDB) is dedicated to empowering students who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Blind, Visually Impaired, Deaf-Blind, or who have multiple sensory needs. Serving children and young adults from age 3 through 21, we provide a comprehensive education that meets the unique needs of every learner.

At ARDB, we believe success looks different for each student. That’s why we combine rigorous academic opportunities with career and technical training programs designed to prepare students for the future they envision for themselves. Whether pursuing college, career pathways, or independent living skills, our students have the resources and support to define and achieve their own goals.

Beyond the classroom, ARDB offers a wide range of services to support the whole child, including language access, assistive technology, extracurricular activities, and residential life experiences. Our highly trained staff works closely with families and communities across Arkansas to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
